Commissioners Present: Commissioner Bruce Harris (via Skype), Commissioner Jim Cook

Commissioner Harris called the meeting to order at 10:00 am.

Commissioner Harris motioned to waive the reading of the Feb. 8, 2018 minutes and accept as written, Commissioner Cook seconded; motion passed.

Operations

LWWD Comp Plan: The list of requirements for the Comp plan was discussed by the Commissioners.

System operation updates: Charlie reported that there are a few repair and maintenance items that will be needed at the combined facility and the Brown Road well.

Administrative

Meter Reading Issue: The DMMR is not functioning properly.  Elaine is working with Master Meter and HD Fowler to try and resolve the issue.

Customer Account Status: One parcel is in foreclosure and neither the legal owner nor the lending agency is making the water payments.  A lien will be placed on the parcel after the 6 month period has passed as directed by the LWWD policies.

Accounts Receivable: $1,051.88 over 60 days past due; $4839.70 over 90 days past due.  This includes the 2 parcels on which LWWD has placed liens.

Treasurer’s Report, as of 2/28/18 $63,637.24 is at the county. $261.67 is in Imprest and expenditures out of Imprest for February were $263.35 for IPage and domain name annual renewal.

No payments were received in February for the LID. The LID balance is $434,798.98 which is invested in LGIP (Local Government Investment Pool). In January LWWD earned $487.98 interest on that investment. February’s interest hasn’t been posted yet.

Commissioner Cook motioned to sign the O&M warrant in the amount of $3,271.04, Commissioner Harris seconded, motioned passed

Commissioner Cook motioned to sign the CPF warrant in the amount of $211.16, Commissioner Harris seconded, motioned passed

Commissioner Cook motioned to sign the February payroll warrant for $642.00, Commissioner Harris seconded, motion passed.

Commissioner Harris adjourned the meeting at 11:30 am.
